Hello and welcome to MPIA's Planet and Star Formation Coffee!

PSF Coffee is held every Wednesday at 14:00 h. Currently we run PSF coffee in hybrid mode in the MPIA auditorium/Hörsaal.

The current organisers are Alice Somigliani, Haochang Jiang, Roy van Boekel, and Hendrik Linz.

Guidelines:

• We all take turns in chairing the sessions; please the Schedule to see when it is your turn; in case you cannot make it that day it is your responsibility to swap with someone.
• PSF Coffee is started by an informal part. Short contributions (<= 3 slides) are allowed during this part. Such short contributions may be pre-announced or spontaneous.
• Two talks per session are the default.
• Talk slots are 30 minutes max, including discussion.
• Hence the presentation length not exceed 20 minutes.
• Talks should focus on a single result or work in progress and not contain too many slides. Make sure to introduce the topic for the "general" audience, i.e. students and people not working in the field.
• Discussion, also during talks, is strongly encouraged!
• Total PSF coffee time is at maximum 60 minutes.
• We have switched to a "bring you own drink" scheme.
