About the meeting

The 2020 Heidelberg-Harvard workshop was originally planned to take place at the Haus der Astronomie in Heidelberg from 1st-3rd December 2020 as the the seventh joint science conference between Heidelberg and Harvard.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we now re-planned that meeting as kind of a hybrid meeting. During December 1 to 3, 2020, we will have a smaller virtual meeting combining a few talks as well as unconference sessions. Furthermore, hoping that the pandemic situation improves, we re-scheduled the in-person meeting in Heidelberg at the Haus der Astronomie for May 4-7, 2021.

Both parts of the conference will gather experts in star formation from:

as well as invited external experts.
