Line Survey of Low-Mass Star Forming Regions
Satoshi Yamamoto Department of Physics, The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
We present early results of unbiased line survey observations in the 3 mm band toward low-mass star forming regions, L1527 and L1157 (B1), which are being carried out with Nobeyama 45 m telescope. L1527 is known to be a warm-carbon-chain-chemistry source, which shows extraordinary richness of various carbon chain molecules and their anions. In the line survey observation, we detected many lines of various carbon-chain molecules, including very high excitation lines of HC5N. Furthermore, several unidentified lines are also found, which may be assigned to new molecules in future. The result of this survey will be a clue to understand the origin of the peculiar chemistry in this source.
