Our research activities span a broad range of observational and theoretical topics, from numerical modelling and physics of stellar atmospheres, to quantitative spectroscopy, and observational studies of the chemical structure of the Milky Way and star forming galaxies.

We are interested in modelling non-equilibrium steady-state systems, as applied to studies of stellar and planetary atmospheres. Our group is actively involved in major large-scale observational programs, the Gaia-ESO,  WEAVE, 4MOST, and MSE.
