Protostellar collapse simulations: Comparison of three approximations of the grey RHD

I will present some results of the calculations of the collapse of a dense core. We use three approximations of the grey RHD. We simulate the collapse of a 1 solar Mass cloud with a radius R = 10000 AU with a 1D Lagrangian grid. The inital cloud has a uniform density and a uniform temperature (10K). We compare the results using the M1 approximation, the flux limited diffusion approximation and a barotropic equation of state approximation. I use different opacities at high and low temperatures. I will also present first results of the second core calculations. I use the various equations of state to take into account the dissociation and the ionisation of hydrogen in order to resolve the second core.
