The IMPRS seminar provides a central meeting opportunity for all IMPRS students in order to exchange ideas and experience from different research areas. After the two IMPRS semester seminars during the first academic year of a student, the IMPRS continues in the second years as a seminar workshop, held as an external retreat for about three days. Students present an update of there thesis projects. The seminar workshop for the 7th-generation students took place at the Kurhaus Trifels close to Annweiler during March 11-13, 2013, under the supervison of Jochen Heidt and Joe Hennawi.
