The 9th Heidelberg Summer School took place September 22-26, 2014
at the "Max Planck Haus" (Max Planck House) in Heidelberg, Germany |
| |
Scope of the School:
| The aim of the school was to (1) provide the participants with advanced knowledge of stellar structure and evolution and (2) to give an overview of selected research areas in which major progress has been made in the last years - due to considerable progress in theory, modelling techniques or available observational data. These areas include 3D-modelling of stellar interiors, asteroseismology, population synthesis and binary evolution, as well as modelling of nucleosynthesis processes. |
