We present the 24 um data from the Spitzer Legacy program to survey the Cygnus-X region, the richest massive star forming complex within 2kpc. The observations were taken with the fast-scanning mode of the Multiband Imaging Photometer for Spitzer (MIPS). We applied the image processing developed for the MIPSGAL survey to the standard pipeline data of Cyg-X in order to mitigate the artifacts caused by the many bright sources in the region. Preliminary results will be described, including comparisons with the molecular gas distribution traced by 13CO and with the extinction distribution traced by Two-Micron All Sky Survey (2MASS) data, and an initial census of protostellar candidates selected by their [K]-[24] colors.
