Abstract:
Within the HEXOS Herschel/HIFI Key Project we have acquired a complete spectral survey of the massive star-forming region Sgr B2(M). Most prominent in this wealth of data is the complete overview on the spectrum of H2O, its isotopologues and its deuterated counterpart over the whole submillimeter to far-infrared regime. SgrB2(M) presents a special challenge because it contains massive hot cores surrounded by a very large warm envelope, and a possibly X-ray heated hot layer on the outside. I will present some of the data and illustrate our current scheme for a radiative transfer modeling of all HDO and some H2O lines in the HIFI bands.
