Abstract:
We present our first result of atomic carbon mapping of the massive star forming region G333.6-0.2, part of our CI mapping of giant molecular clouds Vela C and G333 project. We compare the CI map with various molecular line maps at millimeter wavelengths. The CI emission is fairly extended spatially, with a strong correlation with 12CO and CS, but not so with 13CO and other molecules, among them N2H+ has the largest offset. CI also has comparable line width to the CO isotopologues.
