Gas Opacity in Circumstellar Disks

Abstract:
We computed a new set of gas opacities tabulated as Rosseland, Planck and two-temperature Planck means. We investigate the impact the gas opacity has on the equilibrium temperature in optically thin innermost dust-free regions of circumstellar disks. The importance of an appropriate treatment of gas opacity is shown.
