While many aspects of high-mass star formation have been worked on, the accretion onto the central protostars is one of the most fundamental but less explored physical properties. Spectra of MIRI/JWST allow us now to study potential accretion tracers at lower mid-infrared extinction like the Humphreys alpha line for the first time. We study such accretion tracers on a sample of high-mass protostars at different evolutionary stages.
