This is a mandatory seminar for master students (MVSem) with marks. Presentation with a 10 (soft limit) page written report (4+2CP).

Credit points (4 + 2 CP, Leistungspunkte)
4 CPs for the presentation and attending the seminar
2 CPs for a written report
both will be graded

The seminar will be held in english. The main goal is to deepen knowledge in special topics in modern astrophysics, with a special focus on nucleosynthesis, stellar physics, stellar populations, and chemical evolution of the Milky Way the Milky Way.

Please prepare a draft (at least ideas) of your presentation a week in advance and meet with the lecturer to discuss it.
