By air
The closest international airport to Ringberg castle is the Munich Franz-Josef Strauss Airport (MUC). From there, you can either rent a car, or take the train to Tegernsee (see below).
By train:
Munich Central Station can be reached from anywhere within Europe, and connections are available from there to Tegernsee, in the vicinity of Ringberg castle. From there, you can take a taxi to the castle, which is only a ~15 minutes drive from the station.
By car:
Ringberg casle is located about 70km SE of Munich. Most major car rental companies have branches at the Munich Airport. Cars usually need to be reserved in advance, and rates are often more favorable if the cars are booked by an overseas travel agent. There is ample parking at the castle, and at the hotel in Rottach-Egern near the castle. For those staying in Munich either before or after the workshop, note that parking can be a problem there and is often quite expensive as well.
